Today was my first day as a Year Nine, and I can't possibly deny that I loved every second it. I believe this is the year of making right choices in both class and outside of school, working hard to achieve my goals, and showing all of my CARR Values consistently.
I created this DLO on PiktoChart, which is a digital presentation making I haven't had much experience with.
What was the learning outcome?
To create a colourful 'All About Me' presentation to send to all of the teachers I will be having this year.
What learning process have I been using?
For this presentation, I used PiktoChart. This is an online presentation-making website that I don't have much experience with.
What worked, what didn't, and I what would I change?
What worked is getting all of the information required on the table and making it colourful and eye catching. I really like my design and I think it was creative and different compared to some of my work I've done in the past, especially on Google Slides.
What didn't work is trying to fit everything on the page nicely. I ended up having to alter the proportions of my design slightly to do so.
I would change my work by adding a few more things to make it less plain, for example some icons or multi-coloured text boxes. Next time I would also create more than two drafts and plan on paper first, instead of just going with my first ideas.
